The sound of riding boots is heard on the wooden steps of the entrance. Hoof steps click on the gravel path way around to the stable as the servent takes The Horse to be groomed. A simple 'Thank You' is heard in a kind voice. The steps were closer and she had hoped that they were familiar to the sisters as she came to the giant double doors. They were familiar but somehow they seemed to age with the years that had passed by. Her long brown hair that once covered her shoulders as a young child, was now blonde and about shoulder length maybe a little bit longer. It curled on its own now, she seemed to not tie it back as she once has. Her fingers curled into a fist, hands were bridle from the long ride. Raising her arm to the door she knocked three times. Hopefully they are home... She thought to herself waiting at the closed door. Tired, she sat upon the wooden steps and looked into the window that lead a view into the tea room. Nothing. She reached into her dark rouge riding pants and pulled out the broch that she had aquired prior to meeting the sisters fort he first time. A slight smile filled her face as she remembered the good times that she had with them.

A man had seen her come, he'd followed her in the shadows. He'd watched her, almost stalked her, with an animalistic intrest. From the shadows, his black eyes flashed a silver eyeshine, but that was the only thing to give him away, for he was stealthy and clothed in black. His silver dagger, resembling a shiv, was held in his hand, for he knew not if she was friend or foe. Ealdon held himself in the position of a statue when she looked his way, and he wasn't seen. HE leaned agains tthe wall, and finally decided to say something. "Seems like I ain't the only one who likes midnight rides?" he asked, stepping from the darkest of shadows. He still held the shiv, and a small, blue flame seemed to lace the edges. His eyes seemed blacker than ebony, until they flahsed a silver-blue animalistic eyeshine.

Her attention was brought towards this stranger of the dark. Past experiences forced memories of those who seemed to allow themselves to be shadow covered. They were not good ones. As to this she placed her hand upon her blade that was inherited from the old Green Rider F'ryan Coblebay. It slid so easily into her grip. The broch that was in her hand shone in the glimmering moonlight that poked from in between the tall trees that covered the place. How could he have known of this place? There was no answer at the door so she seemed to have no other choice but to answer him. "Yes, I seem to enjoy the night rides. Do you know the Berry sisters who live here?" Hoping that he would be of some kind of friend as she wished not to battle. It was late and The Horse was already settled in for the night. Standing up her height decieved her bravery. She was only that of a child height, about 5 feet exact. Her long blonde hair fell into her face. Brushing it slightly out of the way, one strand seemed to linger. Riding boots crunched upon the gravel as she made her way closer to him. Hand still clutched upon her blade as the other outstretched to reach for his in a handshake. "Karigan." She spoke her name with ease and pride. She was one of this Kings best Riders. Who was this mysterious man?

"Ealdon," he replied, shaking her hand. He said his name with equal pride and ease. He replaced the shiv in a sheath on his boot, and leaned against the well, fingering the brooch around his neck. Ealdon was a Rider, if one of the more mysterious ones. "Unfortunately, Karigan, I don't know anyone around here. Just curious as t' why a Rider was out this late," he said, turning his eyes to the shadows. Ealdon was at least six feet tall, and more muscular than plenty of men. He obviously didn't want to fight, even if he had drawn a weapon. He was different, in more ways than one, from the other Riders. He smelled fear, but it was faint. Karigan was different than the other people he'd stalked. She didn't seem as afraid as the others had. And that intruiged him. His eyes went back to Karigan, studying her. Ealdon was one of the things that go bump in the night.

The glimmer of his brooch as he fingered it eased her. Her blade placed back in its usual setting in the leather sheath upon her hip. One single strand of blonde hair seemed to be stubborn and fell into her face. "I am here to return to my friends. I had made them on my first ride for King James. They are very kind and welcoming ladies. Unusual though..." The look that was once fixated upon Ealdon was now on the house. Hoping that someone would open the door. Perhaps they were sleeping and she should make camp here for the night. The look on his face as he studied her, she could tell he thought that she was like no other. Fear had not taken over her in a while, ever since her first ride. That was the day she became an official Green Rider. Infact it was a long ride. Too many of the evil creatures and mercernaries did she encounter to keep that fear within her. There was no use for it. Her hand reached up towards her face to brush the strand out of her view. It fell again. Her hazel eyes that somehow had some kind of child still left within them gazed at the large man who stood before her. Studying him.. for something.
